"I can still hear his big bellowing laugh!"

Nobody could describe my Dad as a wallflower,

He was anything but!

He could be argumentative and antagonistic,

Certainly never afraid to speak his mind - even when he knew what he had to say would launch a few cats amongst the pigeons!

But he was also kind, had a huge heart and a wicked sense of humour - I can still hear his big bellowing laugh!

And to me, he was the gentlest of giants.

Fiercely protective, steadfast, and strong.

He always knew what to say.

His love and support for me was unwavering - even if he didn’t always agree with or understand my choices/actions.

He was always there, always had my back, and I could tell him anything.

To the man who held me my whole life, I miss you and I will carry our stories in my heart until we meet again.
